A LITTLE ABOUT US

History

The Palisadium rests on the site of the once-famous Palisades Amusement Park, opened from 1898 to 1971. Once the park closed down in 1971, the Palisadium was opened as an entertainment complex for the nearby luxury residences. Complete with a lounge, reading room, swimming pool, and several sports areas, the Palisadium was the social center for both the Fort Lee and Cliffside Park areas. It's around this time that the Palisadium's lavish rooms and spectacular view became the backdrop for many events to come. Now run by a husband and wife team, the Palisadium returns to its previous grandeur to make your party one that you will always remember.

The View

Over looking the New York City Skyline and the Hudson River, The Palisadium offers spectacular panoramic views to accompany any event you're planning. Our in-house catering, Carlton Catering, is sure to impress even the pickiest palate. On-site coordinators will help you with every detail, from menu to floor plan to decor.

Having undergone a multi-million dollar renovation, The Palisadium now offers our Grand, Junior and River View Ballrooms. Our gem, the Skyline Ballroom, has magnificent views along the Hudson River from the George Washington bridge to the skyscrapers on the New York City horizon. By day or night, it makes a splendid backdrop for up to 750 guests. We also just added exclusive Kosher and Glatt Kosher catering to our extended list of ethnic catering. We have experience with Korean parties, Indian weddings, and family-style dinners.
